It's still hot outside but thankfully my shop has an air conditioner!  During the heat of the day I've been able to make good progress on my 60" Coyote takedown recurve.  It's finish is currently drying and these pictures are of it before varnish, but I should be shooting it by early next week.  It ended up drawing 47 lbs. at 28" which is right where I was aiming for.  I really like the look and feel of this bow.  It's got a little more weight to it compared to the Bobcat and especially the Swift Fox, but the little that I've shot it so far makes me confident that I can take a few deer with it this fall.  Of course I'll post updates throughout the season here, as well as on Facebook and Instagram.  If you aren't following me on Facebook and Instagram what are you waiting for!
