Work has begun on forms for a shorter takedown Recurve bow. It will be very similar to the Coyote XL Recurve with a shorter riser and shorter limbs. It will be offered in lengths of 58", 60", and 62". I am very excited about this bow as it not only greatly expands the product line but it is the perfect length for guys like me who are shorter than 6' and have a draw length of less than 30".
I have also begun plans for a 1950's style recurve. This bow will be 62" AMO and will feature a longbow style riser. This bow is named the Bobcat. I'm very excited about this bow as well and I will be building a Coyote and Bobcat soon for customers to view and shoot before making their decision. I hope to have samples of all 4 bow designs sometime in the summer of 2016. As you might notice I have made a few name changes to the bow lineup. I really want the names to reflect the predators of the High Plains and even through the Gray Wolf was once abundant in Western Kansas I felt that names like Bobcat and Swift Fox are more appropriate. Bow names and descriptions are listed in the drop down menu under Products on this site. Also, I'm working my way into the social media scene with the addition of Facebook and Instagram. Be sure to follow me there as I will post bow build-a-longs, hunts, and success stories from CCA. I invite you to join in the conversation and share your hunts and successes as well.
